A Dag-master Piece: Mohammed and the Seven Rightly Guided Caliphs

I spent a great deal of time and energy, as you'll see immediately, in drawing this latest work, a Sunni-inspired master work of Mohammed and the Seven Rightly Guided Caliphs.

I see in it a great debt to the Romantic painter David, a Muslimesque version of Napoleon on horseback. One thing about this guy, I ain't afraid to acknowledge my artistic debits to others.

For those new to Art History, allow me to explain that this Dag-master piece depicts Mohammed giving lessons in Shari'a to the Seven Rightly Guided, i.e. Sunni caliphs: Abu Bakr, Omar, Uthman, Ali, Snorky, Dorky, and Porky. Notice too the subtle display of pages of the Qur'an laid out before the caliphs. It's that kind of subtlety that makes it art. It's Mohammed and the Seven Rightly Guided Caliphs that makes it Islamic. And it's my special talent that makes it a Dag-master piece.

Mahound is dopey; also looks a lot like a would-be princess to me. But that could be artistic licence on my part. You know how artists can be.
