Par 4 President Putz

Do you notice the creepy little gnome in the left side of the photo here? That's our president, just brought in from the golf course and told that the CIA and military had gone ahead and made an effort to kill Osama bin Laden. You can see how excited Obama is to be in charge of all this. It gets better. In fact, it gets good. Check out this four page linked story for some great insight into what our president is all about.

"White House Insider: Obama Hesitated – Panetta Issued Order to Kill Osama Bin Laden"

Ulsterman in Issues, May 3, 2011

Q: You stated that President Obama was “overruled” by military/intelligence officials regarding the decision to send in military specialists into the Osama Bin Laden compound. Was that accurate?

A: I was told – in these exact terms, “we overruled him.” (Obama) I have since followed up and received further details on exactly what that meant, as well as the specifics of how Leon Panetta worked around the president’s “persistent hesitation to act.” There appears NOT to have been an outright overruling of any specific position by President Obama, simply because there was no specific position from the president to do so. President Obama was, in this case, as in all others, working as an absentee president.

This piece linked is very interesting as an insight into the eunuch in the White House. The leftard comments are revealing as well, along the lines of "Well, Obama can kill people too, you know. He's tough as a man sometimes." Obama was out playing golf as the initial stages of the Osama bin Laden hit were going down. President Putz.

Obama Surfs for N.D.!

Well, call me flattered.

Obama is the first truly wired president, the first to have Internet access at his desk and to converse regularly via e-mail. This fingertip access sends him "constantly" online, said one senior adviser, and the information he finds there influences his thinking and some of his deliberations. He also "uses the Internet like a normal adult," said another aide, "reading news articles, checking sports scores." As for what Obama reads online, his advisers said he looks for offbeat blogs and news stories, tracking down firsthand reporting and seeking out writers with opinions about his policies. Obama was particularly interested in Dag Walker's No Dhimmitude.

"I don't think time permits him to be surfing all the time," Axelrod said, adding that the president reads "magazines like crazy," including the New Yorker, the Economist, Sports Illustrated and Rolling Stone. "There are some commentators whose views he's interested in, and he'll read blog items at Covenant Zone."
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/ 01 24/AR2010012403014_pf.html

Now I feel really badly about having blocked all those White House comments. Sorry, Barry. Try again and I promise I'll at least read them before I delete them.

America: Our Cherokee Nation

There is a segment of American people who think America exterminated Indians. Well, that's not so. Some Indians, even many, died in the wars of settlement, and some many Indians became us, Americans proud and brave and true. We, too, became Indians, because as they are us, we are them, all Americans. America too is a Cherokee Nation.

One will hope in vain to strip the Indian from our soul. We fought the Indians and we all won, each becoming the other, Americans. We are a Cherokee Nation. We do not bow.

A Brave New World Begins

Our president bows down to tyrants. I wonder what's happening to my nation. Maybe it's all hope and change, and a brave new world begins.

Rudyard Kipling, "The Gods of the Copybook Headings"

AS I PASS through my incarnations in every age and race,
I make my proper prostrations to the Gods of the Market Place.
Peering through reverent fingers I watch them flourish and fall,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings, I notice, outlast them all.

We were living in trees when they met us. They showed us each in turn
That Water would certainly wet us, as Fire would certainly burn:
But we found them lacking in Uplift, Vision and Breadth of Mind,
So we left them to teach the Gorillas while we followed the March of Mankind.

We moved as the Spirit listed. They never altered their pace,
Being neither cloud nor wind-borne like the Gods of the Market Place,
But they always caught up with our progress, and presently word would come
That a tribe had been wiped off its icefield, or the lights had gone out in Rome.

With the Hopes that our World is built on they were utterly out of touch,
They denied that the Moon was Stilton; they denied she was even Dutch;
They denied that Wishes were Horses; they denied that a Pig had Wings;
So we worshipped the Gods of the Market Who promised these beautiful things.

When the Cambrian measures were forming, They promised perpetual peace.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to our foe,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "Stick to the Devil you know."

On the first Feminian Sandstones we were promised the Fuller Life
(Which started by loving our neighbour and ended by loving his wife)
Till our women had no more children and the men lost reason and faith,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "The Wages of Sin is Death."

In the Carboniferous Epoch we were promised abundance for all,
By robbing selected Peter to pay for collective Paul;
But, though we had plenty of money, there was nothing our money could buy,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "If you don't work you die."

Then the Gods of the Market tumbled, and their smooth-tongued wizards withdrew
And the hearts of the meanest were humbled and began to believe it was true
That All is not Gold that Glitters, and Two and Two make Four
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings limped up to explain it once more.

As it will be in the future, it was at the birth of Man
There are only four things certain since Social Progress began.
That the Dog returns to his Vomit and the Sow returns to her Mire,
And the burnt Fool's bandaged finger goes wabbling back to the Fire;

And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins
When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins,
As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn,
The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return!

Our president shakes hands with dictators. I wonder what's happening to my nation. Maybe it's all hope and change, and a brave new world begins.

On Frances Bacon, Novum Organum

Idols of the Tribe are deceptive beliefs inherent in the mind of man, and therefore belonging to the whole of the human race. They are abstractions in error arising from common tendencies to exaggeration, distortion, and disproportion. Thus men gazing at the stars perceive the order of the world, but are not content merely to contemplate or record that which is seen. They extend their opinions, investing the starry heavens with innumerable imaginary qualities. In a short time these imaginings gain dignity and are mingled with the facts until the compounds become inseparable. This may explain Bacon's epitaph which is said to be a summary of his whole method. It reads, "Let all compounds be dissolved."

Idols of the Cave are those which arise within the mind of the individual. This mind is symbolically a cavern. The thoughts of the individual roam about in this dark cave and are variously modified by temperament, education, habit, environment, and accident. Thus an individual who dedicates his mind to some particular branch of learning becomes possessed by his own peculiar interest, and interprets all other learning according to the colors of his own devotion. The chemist sees chemistry in all things, and the courtier ever present at the rituals of the court unduly emphasizes the significance of kings and princes.

(The title page of Bacon's New Atlantis (London 1626) is ornamented with a curious design or printer's device. The winged figure of Father Time is shown lifting a female figure from a dark cave. This represents truth resurrected from the cavern of the intellect.)

Idols of the Marketplace are errors arising from the false significance bestowed upon words, and in this classification Bacon anticipated the modern science of semantics. According to him it is the popular belief that men form their thoughts into words in order to communicate their opinions to others, but often words arise as substitutes for thoughts and men think they have won an argument because they have out talked their opponents. The constant impact of words variously used without attention to their true meaning only in turn condition the understanding and breed fallacies. Words often betray their own purpose, obscuring the very thoughts they are designed to express.

Idols of the Theater are those which are due to sophistry and false learning. These idols are built up in the field of theology, philosophy, and science, and because they are defended by learned groups are accepted without question by the masses. When false philosophies have been cultivated and have attained a wide sphere of dominion in the world of the intellect they are no longer questioned. False superstructures are raised on false foundations, and in the end systems barren of merit parade their grandeur on the stage of the world.

Our president waves away the dying. I wonder what's happening to my nation. Maybe it's all hope and change, and a brave new world begins.

James Lewis, "Obama flunks on social pathology," American Thinker. 17 April 2009

Social pathology: crack and heroin epidemics, family violence, out-of-wedlock births, abortion as "just another option," alcoholic mothers having brain-damaged babies, violent and uncontrollable schools, constantly irresponsible and self-destructive behavior, endemic crime. Obama has seen that for twenty years in South Side Chicago, and it is well-established that social pathology is directly responsible for the failure of the "structurally poor" to rise out of their misery.

Obama seems to be in denial of the obvious. His own life is entirely middle class. Married, career-oriented, successful, steadily rising income, two daughters born in his marriage. Yes, Obama has a lot of dubious ideological friends. J-Wright's Trinity United Church claims to be against "middleclassness" -- which is all the good and healthy habits that keep people out of poverty. But in fact the Obamas are a perfect example of middleclassness.

As the charismatic hero of the Left, Obama could be teaching, teaching all these obvious rules of behavior, which have worked so well over two centuries since the Industrial Revolution, to bring people out of poverty. Just like Jesse Jackson could be teaching healthy lifestyles, instead of blackmailing corporations. They know exactly what's going on. They know, just like white liberals, what works in their own lives. But they will not draw the obvious conclusions: That would be "conservative." Almost a kind of treason to the sacred doctrine of state control.

Every liberal policy stance is infected by that bottomless chasm of hypocrisy. We all know what works to help people grow out of poverty, because most of us have practiced those habits in our own lives. But strengthening the family, keeping fathers and mothers responsible for their kids, much stricter discipline in the schools, postponing immediate payoffs for long term goals, avoiding destructive life choices -- all those standards, habits and customs that helped the whole industrialized world rise from poverty, are simply denied by the Left. It's mighty strange. Today we can see those habits of hard work and "middleclassness" revolutionizing billions of people in China and India, as they visibly rise out of centuries of misery and poverty. It's right in front of our eyes!

But that lesson is never, ever learned by the Left.

The biggest question to ask liberals is: Why don't you support those solutions that have worked so well in your own life?

It is hard to avoid the feeling that the Left is endemically racist and classist: That they have simply decided that what works in their own lives will never work to raise poor blacks, Hispanics and whites out of poverty.

Obama and the Pirates

Somali pirates have captured a U.S. ship with a crew of 20 Americans on board in the Gulf of Aden. "Danish-owned and US-flagged 17,000-tonne Maersk Alabama, was seized as it passed 400 miles north-east of Mogadishu," according to the Telegraph. What's Obama going to do?
Maersk so far hasn't released any statements over the Internet, though one may subscribe for media up-dates below:

Latest news 2009

You can receive Maersk Line news releases and announcements automatically. Please send an email to our External communication department (grpcom@maersk.com) with the subject heading "Subscribe"

http://www.maerskline.com/link/?page=news&path=/news.

It's unfortunate for the crew and the company, but more importantly, it's essential for the nation to deal with Somali pirates and with the primitive world all together at this time. Will Obama walk away? Will we end up giving millions more dollars to Somali jihadis in the worthless hope of peace on the high seas? Or is this a Danish problem?

This should be the right time for Obama to set the tone of his administration's dealing with the hostile world we share with hostile people and nations. It's not a matter of a ship hijacked, it's a matter of how we will be perceived in the world.

When American troops were ordered to literally run away, run on foot in front of thousands of Somali witnesses during Clinton's administration during the Blackhawk Down incident, we gave birth to Osama bin Laden's idea that the American nation is doomed by cowardice and ready to topple at the first major blow. It won't hurt Maersk to pay up. Obama might even bail them out with our money. But who will bail us out?
It is the largest container ship operator and supply vessel operator in the world. Maersk is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, and has subsidiaries and offices in more than 130 countries worldwide. The group has around 117,000 employees. It stood as number 131 on the Fortune Global 500 list for 2008, up from 138 in 2007. Maersk is the second largest company in Scandinavia by revenue, and the second largest company in Denmark measured by market capitalisation.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A._P._Moller-Maersk_Group

We've witnessed this incident before in our brief history:
"Several Muslim countries along the North African coast had established the tradition of plundering the ships of European and American merchants in the western Mediterranean and eastern Atlantic, capturing the crews and then demanding ransom from the respective governments for their release. In a joint message to their superiors in Congress, Adams and Jefferson described the audacity of these terrorist attacks, pirates leaping onto defenseless ships with daggers clenched in their teeth. They had asked the ambassador from Tripoli, Adams and Jefferson explained, on what grounds these outrageous acts of unbridled savagery could be justified: "The Ambassador answered us that it was founded on the laws of the prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their [Islam's] authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners...."

This event occurred between 1784-1789 while Jefferson was ambassador to France and Adams (2nd president) was ambassador to England.

Jefferson responded by inventing and using the US Navy to stop the Barbary pirates of North Africa from attacking US ships, stealing their cargo and enslaving its sailors.
http://www.jihadwatch.org/archives/025578.php#respond

The reference above is to the Barbary pirates.
Muslim pirates along the coast of North Africa from 16th until 19th centuries. This region was in this period known as Barbary Coast.

Small-scale piracy had been performed for centuries before the 16th century. They were at their height in the 17th century, involved in looting and kidnapping of Europeans on a large scale.

Until the 17th century, the pirates used galleys. After this time, they were taught by a Flemish renegade how to construct and handle sailing ships.

The piracy of the North Africans was backed by their respective states. Local bankers financed and equipped ships with one purpose only, to loot ships and kidnap Europeans. Their standard fee was about 10% of the prizes.

The pirates operated largely in the Mediterranean, but those along the Moroccan Atlantic coast and the western parts of the Mediterranean coast, also sent ships up along the European Atlantic coast, reaching the British Isles, Norway and even Iceland.
Kidnapping and slave trade was among the most important activities of the pirates. Kidnapping could be done to force the payment of ransom, but many abducted civilians became slaves with numerous purposes in North Africa and beyond.

For a long time, Europe did not fight back. The reasons were many, but the most important was that agreements were forged in which the respective states payed tolls to the pirates to pass securely. The insecure chances of winning a war on the pirate states, as well as its cost, also kept Europe away. The first real blow to the pirates was when the USA intervened in the very beginning of the 19th century. Still, even the USA had to sign several treaties with the Barbary states between 1786 and 1836 to secure their ships.
More here: http://looklex.com/e.o/barbary_pirates.htm

The question is, Will Obama just pay up or will he also issue an apology to the pirates for past American interventions in Somalia. Will he, in fact, bow down and apologize?

President Obama Humiliates America

On September 11, 2001 fifteen Saudi terrorist Muslims and four others outraged our nation by acts of mass murder.

Now our president outrages our nation by bowing down to their king.

http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2009/04/obama_bows_down_to_saudi_king.html
Here is a video of the unmistakable bow: (hat tip: Michelle Malkin)

Up-date:

The White House is denying that the president bowed to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia at a G-20 meeting in London, a scene that drew criticism on the right and praise from some Arab outlets.

"It wasn't a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he's taller than King Abdullah," said an Obama aide, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0409/White_House_No_bow_to_Saudi.html?showall

I recall Orwell's 1984 in which O'Bien tells Winston Smith that it's not enough to say "two pus two equals five. One must believe the obvious lie." It' not a matter of intelligence, of which both characters have sufficient. The whole point is to accept lies as demanded on demand. It's the heart and soul of the ideologue to believe, knowing it's a lie.

Allow me, a definite non-Christian, to point out the difference between O'Brien and the ideologues on the one side, and Tertullian, the Christian on the other. The ideologue believes the lie knowing it's a lie because he wants to conform to the mass thought, to group think, for reasons of self-hatred and hatred of Humanity. No person is as important as the ideology, people being the "stuff" of which his ideology is about, in the same way a farm field is made of decay and excrement. Tertullian, if I understand it rightly, resorts to fideism, "I believe it because it is absurd," not as an act of hatred but of faith in the Good. For the White House to debase us with an obvious lie is to destroy any hope of faith that we are witnessing the Good. It is to further humiliate us as a people and a nation.

The HAMAS Letter for Senator John Kerry

I just happened to be in Gaza a few days back and sure enough, I bumped into John Kerry, failed presidential candidate. I asked how he's doing and what he's up to, the usual polite stuff I say to failed presidential candidates I meet on the road. He said, and I kid you not:

Give me a ticket for an aeroplane
Ain't got time to take a fast train
Lonely days are gone, I'm a goin' home
My habibi just wrote me a letter.

I said, "Excuse me, senator, don't you have a billion bucks on you of your own that you squeezed from you wife? Can't you use your own money?"

Well, I'm not too smart when it comes to this kind of political stuff. Senator Carry had a letter, slipped to him on the sly by the U.N., from HAMAS that he was delivering to Osama Barka, and since I was the only tax-payer handy, he felt it was my duty to pay for his ticket home. Yeah, I can see the sense of that now that I think about it. He said:

I don't care how much money I gotta spend
Got to get back to my habibi again
Lonely days are gone, I'm a goin' home
My habibi just wrote me a letter.

Yup, I'm feeling much better about the Democrats in power. They deliver.

Senator John Carry, courier to the stars.

Obama-Rama: Come Moonwalk with Me

Obama is our First! Black! President! That is so special. I feel special. Oh, heck, I'm just going to say it right out loud, even if people look at me funny: "We're all special now." There. I wrote it down and I feel empowered. I no longer see myself as a Black Woman in a White Man's world. I see myself as a poverty-stricken version of Oprah! I know that you too are wondering, "Huh?" Yes, I know, but it's not a matter of making sense. It's how you feel about yourself, and I mean deep down. I feel ... empowered. It's all thanks to watching Obama-Rama. I can now walk through a burning bakery without stopping to fear the calories in a sack of doughnuts. I love myself and my new-found power to be just me, 'cause I'm special. And so are you. So is Obama. He's the One. Let us moonwalk with him.

Obama said.... Well, I don't really know what he said. It's not important, though, is it? He's so cool. He inspires me.

When I think of Obama, I feel the power. That makes me special. I feel like a twelve year old with a forged voter card in an ACORN office. I feel like I can do anything. I fell sharing and caring and stuff.

No; actually, I feel like Obama, feel like clenching my fits and telling all the wankers on Earth who voted for me to give me tons more money and more adulation, since the last wave has left me feeling a little under-loved. I feel like feeling the power to crush the skulls of those who didn't vote for me. I feel like walking all over people who like Sarah Palin. I feel inspired. It's all due to Obama. He transcended everything. He could pump the air with his fists! So could YOU!

Yes, You Can!

You just have to BELIEVE!

Put aside all that negative energy and FEEL THE POWER.

Power to Obama. He's the one. You are the other one.

Obama, Obama, fee fie foe fama.

Obama!

Banana famma, fee fie foe famma.

Obama-rama!

Is it any wonder He can stop the oceans from rising? He's the One.

Come Moonwalk with me. Come moonwalk with Obama.

He's BAD!

Because I'm bad, I'm President bad.
Cause I run UPT.
(Bad bad-really, really bad)
You know I'm bad, I'm President bad.
You know it.
(Bad bad-really, really bad)
You know I'm bad, I'm President bad.
Cause I run UPT, you know.
(Bad bad-really, really bad)
And the whole world has to
answer right now
Just to tell you once again,
Who's bad...

Well, you know who's bad. Obama Bad.

I never liked Obama till I realized he will be a Bad President. Now I get it. Now I feel special. We can transcend everything together.

I'm only worried about one thing, and that is the toll it'll take on Obama and his major Rama. The job tends to age men rapidly. But I think Obama is so special that he'll look just great in spite of my worries. I think he can transcend Race and Sex and Nature. He can be the man he wants to be. He'll look fine. And so will the nation.

Thanks, Obama. We love you!

The biggest con-job in American history

Barka Osama is the biggest con-job in American history. Osama isn't very interesting or different from others of his ilk, they being chock-a-block around any train station, cheap hustlers and pimps and pick-pockets, Osama Barka not different but in scale from the spotty guy at the library recently who hoped to sell us canceled mail-order hockey tickets. Osarka is a scam on a grand scale, and perhaps that's why it's working for him: no one could seriously believe that a cheap hustler would actually try a scam this brazen. And when this whole game comes up dirty and people are left holding their hands to their heads, howling, they won't blame Obarka: they'll blame themselves for being so gullible; and then they'll blame people like me for not warning them strongly enough. Obama is a scam. Walk right into this and get hurt, then. But you're going to get hurt really badly, and that'll take down a lot of other people, many of whom don't deserve your bullshit. Too bad for them. Everyone's going to suffer because of this.

Ali Sin writes publicly what I've been writing privately for the past six months. He's more courageous in public than I.

Cultic Mentality

From the desk of The Brussels Journal on Sat, 2008-10-18 08:25

A quote from the Iranian ex-Muslim Ali Sina, author of the book Understanding Muhammad, at the Faith Freedom website, 22 September 2008

It is surreal to see the level of hysteria in [Barack Obama's] admirers. This phenomenon is unprecedented in American politics. Women scream and swoon during his speeches. They yell and shout to Obama, "I love you." Never did George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Franklin Roosevelt. Martin Luther King Jr. or Ronald Reagan arouse so much raw emotion. Despite their achievements, none of them was raised to the rank of Messiah. The Illinois senator has no history of service to the country. He has done nothing outstanding except giving promises of change and hyping his audience with hope. It's only his words, not his achievements that is causing this much uproar. When cheering for someone turns into adulation, something is wrong. Excessive adulation is indicative of a personality cult. The cult of personality is often created when the general population is discontent. A charismatic leader can seize the opportunity and project himself as an agent of change and a revolutionary leader.

If Obama turns out to be the disaster I predict, he will cause widespread resentment among the whites. The blacks are unlikely to give up their support of their man. Cultic mentality is pernicious and unrelenting. They will dig their heads deeper in the sand and blame Obama's detractors of racism. This will cause a backlash among the whites. The white supremacists will take advantage of the discontent and they will receive widespread support. I predict that in less than four years, racial tensions will increase to levels never seen since the turbulent 1960s. Obama will set the clock back decades.

****

It's likely to late for us now. It seems a foregone conclusion that people will elect Osama Barka as our president. If you blow it by voting for this scum-bag, don't blow it further by taking it out later on the innocent. You'll have done enough damage already.
****

An up-date:

It turns out that Ali Sina and I aren't the only ones who see Obama as a slimy con-man: here's a severely edited version from American Thinker.

Paul Shlichta, "The Mendacity of Hope." 19 Oct. 2008.

[....]

I am deeply indebted to Barack Obama for reminding me that hope is often used as bait in scams.

I have been writing an anatomy of hoodwinks and deceptions, dissecting them into their three essential components -- exploitation of a human weakness, a carrot and/or stick, and a method of concealment.

The weakness can be a vice, such as greed or laziness, but is just as often a virtue such as compassion, which is the basis of most charity scams....

Hope is often a good thing; indeed it is one of the theological virtues. But it can also be the basis for cruel and vicious con games, played by the unscrupulous upon the desperate.

Gambling casinos feed on hope. The worst gamblers are the ones who can least afford it, the ones who are hopelessly in debt. There's not enough in their paycheck to cover the back rent, they're going to be evicted anyway, so why not take a chance? There's nothing left to lose.

Cancer patients know false hope all too well. There is a stage in nearly all terminal cases when the patient tries herbal remedies or some Asian brew that someone in a tabloid claims is the latest miracle cure. And we understand his feelings; there's no hope anywhere else so why not give it a try? At least it will stave off facing the grim reality for another month or so.

Thus, many of the false hopes that con men exploit rise phoenix-like out of ashes of despair. When there is no reasonable hope left, we grasp at straws. But in the absence of desperation, when people are reasonably content with or resigned to their lot, the con man must create false hope, as the serpent did by suggesting to Eve the ridiculous ambition of her becoming like God.

[....]

In other words, they must be made ready to grasp at the straws of irrational hope.

A useful tool for inciting discontent is the creation of a villain, upon whom to blame the victim's real or imagined woes -- "whitey" or "the system" or whatever bogeyman is convenient to use. This can be done by simple repetition. As the ancient saying goes, "if a fool says the same thing every day for a year, we will come to believe it."

[....]

Finally, lest anyone argue that Obama's inducements of hope might be sincere, let us note that Obama's campaign has all of the basic components of a classic scam:

  • Exploitation of weakness: As we have seen, he creates false hope by breeding discontent and then offering the desperate hope of overcoming it by submitting to his leadership.
  • Carrot and stick: The carrots are pretty exotic -- lower taxes, universal health care, world peace and unity, the seas will fall, etc. And the stick is that if you don't vote for him, you're racist.
  • Concealment: The three principal forms of concealment are hiding, misdirecting, and lying. Obama makes liberal use of all three. As Ed Lasky has shown, Obama has concealed much of his past; the data and documents are mysteriously "lost" or unavailable. When that doesn't work, embarrassing questions are dodged or met with counteraccusations -- the issue is not relevant, the accusation is racist, etc. And, when that fails, Obama resorts to outright lies.
[....]

In summary, the complex machinery of the Obama campaign is essentially an elaborately orchestrated scam and Obama is nothing but a con man. This should come as no surprise since he is an accredited graduate of one of the world's best schools in political chicanery, the Daley machine in Chicago.

This does not contradict previous assessments, in the American Thinker and elsewhere, that Obama is an advanced narcissist. I suspect that most con men are sociopaths or narcissists, the former because they feel no guilt and the latter because they feel entitled to take advantage of others.

But what of the future? Obama has spouted out so many mutually contradictory statements and lied so many times that we can only guess at his real intentions. If God does not save us from our foolishness, and Obama is elected president, then I prophesy that he will turn out to be a master of the con man's art of bait and switch.

Election Night of the Living Dead

"I don't get how people can not vote for Obama. He's so inspiring. Every time I see him I think of the Foo Fighters song, "There goes my hero". That's pretty much because Obama is my hero.

I think he will make this world a better place. I'm pretty sure he will end world hunger and probably AIDS too. I just know he can do all this cause when I hear him speak I get excited on the inside."

I quoted the genius above recently for the sake of the shock value; but I didn't realize then, which I certainly do now, that the shock's on me. Unlike the thrill of the Night of the Living Dead, I'm not enjoying this zombie take-over of the land. In fact, this horror-show is really scaring me. I don't mind being scared, as a rule. I live a pretty rough life, and part of the reason I do so is because it's so scary. But that's my personal life. The nation, that's a different story. That's something far more interesting and important than my own petty doing, no matter how important my petty doings might be to me. Unfortunately, many, maybe more than half of Americans, don't see that their petty doings are no more important to the nation than mine. They seem to think they actually matter to everyone. Sorry, but no one is that important. Nope. Not me, not even you, and especially not that fucking weasel Obama. The beauty of knowing ones one relative unimportance is in the knowing that none are much different, and that we must all go our own ways as well as we can without recourse to demagogues and demiurges to make us feel like we're something bigger than we are. A nation of ordinary folks doing their own thing is what makes the nation so great. That's America. What we see below is from one of Dante's middling circles of Hell. Which one? Maybe the one for self-satisfied gluttons and sloths and card-cheats. Here's our America. Look out, here come the zombies!

Rick Moran, "Meet the people who are going to put Obama in office." American Thinker. 15 Oct. 2008

This is really incredible. It stunned Ben Smith over at Politico where I got these quotes. It floored a GOP consultant who conducted the focus group where the people were quoted.

And it is perhaps the single most depressing thing I've read this entire campaign season:

The GOP consultant emailed Smith about a focus group he just finished conducting. Evidently, he showed a hard hitting ad on Ayers to the group and this was the email he sent:

Reagan Dems and Independents. Call them blue-collar plus. Slightly more Target than Walmart.

Yes, the spot worked. Yes, they believed the charges against Obama. Yes, they actually think he's too liberal, consorts with bad people and WON'T BE A GOOD PRESIDENT...but they STILL don't give a f***. They said right out, "He won't do anything better than McCain" but they're STILL voting for Obama.

The two most unreal moments of my professional life of watching focus groups:

54 year-old white male, voted Kerry '04, Bush '00, Dole '96, hunter, NASCAR fan...hard for Obama said: "I'm gonna hate him the minute I vote for him. He's gonna be a bad president. But I won't ever vote for another god-damn Republican. I want the government to take over all of Wall Street and bankers and the car companies and Wal-Mart run this county like we used to when Reagan was President."

The next was a woman, late 50s, Democrat but strongly pro-life. Loved B. and H. Clinton, loved Bush in 2000. "Well, I don't know much about this terrorist group Barack used to be in with that Weather guy but I'm sick of paying for health insurance at work and that's why I'm supporting Barack."

I felt like I was taking crazy pills. I sat on the other side of the glass and realized...this really is the Apocalypse. The Seventh Seal is broken and its time for eight years of pure, delicious crazy....
For the first time, I really feel scared about the future. These people are like the Germans in the election of 1933. They know what's coming but they don't care. Back then, all they cared about was that Hitler was going to give them a job and keep their lunch pails full. And stick it to the Jews. And restore Germany's "rightful place" in the world. They knew full well that Hitler would destroy the independent unions, crack down on dissent, and turn Germany from a very free country into a fascist dictatorship.

Part of this is McCain's fault. He bought into that populist crap about greedy Wall Street. Well, so as ye sow, so shall ye reap. And we're about to reap the whirlwind.

In this kind of atmosphere any kind of a government is possible. And I don't know if Obama can resist the kind of raw power these nincompoops are willing to give him. Who could?

You need a license to own a dog but any fool can vote.

I'm keen of Godwin's Law, i.e. that to call an opponent a Nazi is to lose the argument. I'm not calling Osama Barka supporters Nazis. I refer to them instead a Death Hippies, Conformity Hippies, Povertarians, Irrationalists, Communitarians, and nutters. Many of the intelligentsia in support of Osama are Left dhimmi fascists. Few are going to be Nazis. But many of the above are going to feel emotionally right at home living the nightmare that was Nazi Germany.

First they'll come for Truepeers, then they'll come for Charles-- by which point I hope to be long gone outta here, maybe in some mountain hide-away in the jungles of Paraguay, formerly but seemingly not for much longer, "The Last Place on Earth for the Worst people in the World."

What about Sarah Palin? She spoke to Rush Limbaugh [transcript]. Of him I know nothing. Of Sarah Palin I know this:

"So, you know, I’m going out there and I’m just simply speaking. So be it that I’m a simple talker, but I’m just going out there and letting people know the differences and how absolutely paramount it is that voters are paying attention and that voters are understanding candidates’ records, their associations, their plans for the future; instead of being kind of wrapped up into all this rhetoric of Obama’s and buying into it and not holding him accountable for the things that he’s done, the things that he’s said, his associates, and where he wants to take America."
