You, Citizen, are the Media.

CNN is not showing the negative caricatures of the likeness of the Prophet Mohammed because the network believes its role is to cover the events surrounding the publication of the cartoons while not unnecessarily adding fuel to the controversy itself.

Thanks for stopping by. Cnn today interviewed some NYC people on the street as to their opinion.
One man said (Freedom of Speech)
"It's not negotiable."
Amen to that.

Here's something I wrote you might like. A little satire on how dictatorships might be affected by Jon Stewart's "The Daily Show."
Dictatorships Bewildered: Torturers hit the breadlines.

I gave up on the MSM after the way they handled the cartoon'crisis'.
Maybe it's the fact they pre-emptively surrended their press freedom without even a whimper, or even much pressure from Muslim groups. They seem to be in a desperate rush to become ass-kissing dhimmies, it's the latest media fad.
The internet is the future for the information battle because the MSM has lost the plot. They are gutless, unprincipled traitors.

Yes, between torturers and so-called journalists the bread lines will expand greatly over the coming years as people sort out the nature of social relations.

We can look at ourselves as consumers who have the power of the marketplace on our side. We need not buy into the media, CNN for example, when they refuse to cover what lttle news they would have in the first place. When a girl is hanged for adultry from a crane, when people are arbitrarily murdered by Moslem governments for being Christians or Buddhists, and when CNN proclaims they won't cover these stories out of respect for Islam, I tend to call that cowardice. I also tend to look to CNN and others like it not for news but for examples of failure. We have the power to make or unmake the media or to remake it from each according to to his means to each according to his needs. We do not have the means to create CNN, but we do have the need for real facts and truth. That latter we can make for ourselves, and we can abandon the tryanny of the MSM. They do not have the products we need.

And so too with government. We are the consumers of government in the same way we are the consumers of media and education. Our time will turn the nature of social relations to the power of people as individuals. We do not require a government that commits torture. Why should Iraqis have a government such like? What advantage is there for Koreans to consume a torture government? Nope, that's all coming to an end.

Ending as it will, we must look to the future to decide what we will make of it. There will be those who make. Regardless of the changes from this to that, some will control the change and make our world into something else.

If we have change for the good it will come from honest people, those who value truth above all. That's the end of CNN execs.

Hey, the soup kitchen's thata way, Dan.

I have a posting on "Why we don't "hear" 'moderate Muslims' voice" against the violence on the Cartoon-Jihad.

It reminds me of the known liar that no one believes him even when he says -- for once -- the truth.
