Teri, I have no idea how to do that, but you're not the only person to request it. Now that it's come to my attention again I will learn. Please give me a bit of time to figure out what to do.

Also, I hope not to disappoint, but the main thrust of this blog isnt to provide cartoons that enrage Muslims and delight the rest of the world. I spend most of the time I put in here with essays on the history of Left dhimmi fascism, tres sec for most people. I do hope not to put off all readers by continuing with that emphasis when this cartoon issue settles.

Till then I'll d what I can to make the techno stuff magic work. Thanks for the reminder.

Freedom of speech requires some responsibility. You exhibit none. I have flagged your blog to Google, and I hope they shut you down. Why should they allow you to use their name?

Why would Google allow you to write here? Free speech is a right we fight for as responsible adults. Your petty concerns are as free to express as are those expressions you choose to be offended by.

Persoanlly, I wouldn't bother with you but the issue itself is important. Rant on.

It's an issue of whether we are willing to allow ourselves to be even further intimidated by fascist Muslims and their Left dhimmi fascist controllers. If we give in here and let the Muslims put up warning signs to Derek's blog, then this one, then your, where will it stop? It won't stop. Obviously, the Muslims and the srhiekers and the fascists are going to push as far as they can and take all they are able to take.

The moron above asks why Google should put their name on this blog. Well, obviously they do not. I put my blog under a banner in their name. Google, to their credit, has not censored Derek's blog. They have flagged it with a warning. That is the danger: that people will fear that their blogs will be flagged as somehow not good. It creates more terror. Some people are upset by criticism by the nut-bar above and wil refrain form expressing themselves if they feel that Google will paint them as somehow not good. It is a form of trrorism.

There is no question that Google is doing us a favor, if motivated by business on concerns, by providing us with blogs we use for free. Look if you will at the usual company who would have long ago chopped our blogs and taken our money and told us to jump in the lake. I do not fault Google particularly. I do get upset that people are allowing this to go unchecked. I see this as one case of people doing nothing in the hope that nothing further will happen if they don't make a fuss. Then next time there will be signs up at Disney Land warning that some people find it offensive that Disney has dancing dogs and cartoon pigs. In time we wil all be living in a state of terror. No more. This has to be the end of Ilsmaic and Left dhimmi fascist intimidation.

I will run things as I'm able so that this becomes a full blown battle field.

Death to Islam.

I can't believe someone said this:
Freedom of speech requires some responsibility. You exhibit none.

Every post I have ever seen on this blog has a tagline "posted by (usually dag)" and also a link to the original source.

This clearly satisfies any burden of responsibility for the material.

What this poster is really trying to do is equate "responsibility" with "inocuous speech". Free Speech exists to protect controversial speech. Mundane or inocuous speech needs no protection because by definition, no one objects to it.

Good points. Free speech is fine so long as no one ever says anything.

I don't have a ready reference for this but somewhere, and probably available by searching the Internet briefly, the president of PEN, the wirters' protection organization, wrote or siad in an interview that PEN is not around to protect free speech but to stop hate speech. Our values have become so perverted at the core that we are in danger of living in a self-created nightmare.

One must learn the lessons of Orwell's essay "Politics and the English Language" so thouroughly that no one can lie to us without being ridiculed on the spot.

Here's his comment on how the media and our governments would have us think in relation to Islam:

Crimestop is: "The faculty of stopping short, as though by instinct, at the threshold of any dangerous thought. It includes the power of not grasping analogies, of failing to perceive logical errors, of misunderstanding the simplest arguments if they are inimical to Ingsoc, and of being bored or repelled by any train of thought which is capable of leading in a heretical direction. In short....protective stupidity."

George Owell, 1984.

Usually I do go so far as to put in a footnote to such quotations, not simply for the sake of backing up my position legitimately and authoritively but to give the reader a chance to refer to the place to continue to find more on his or her own. In this case I don't have the book handy for a page reference. I can see a day soon when there won't be any books. Not because of the Internet.

Here I wish to end with a clarification of why our friends I put up such outrageous and provocative work. We do so to push to the limit the battle against us as free individuals. Personally I have nothing against Muslims at all. I don't care one way or the other if the reporter from the TV station is a moron who can't think straight about the simplest things he reports on. I do concern myself when Muslims and reporters try to prevent me from thinking for myself, from finding out from others their points of view and their insights. To have my freedom to understand I must ensure that others have at least that much right as well. So, if Muslims and Left dhimmi fascists wish to curtail your free speech it denies me the truth you might provide. No thanks. I want it. I'm greedy. I'm ready to go out and fight for it and get all I can. And those who wish to keep it from me will find I'm a nasty and vicious guy in a fight like that.

As an interesting side note, those interested in plaigarism as a fetish of incompetent intellectuals, please look on the Iternet for Steven Dutch, a geology professor in Wisconsin. I'll try to include a link to him here later today if I remember.
