In volume one of my book, A Genealogy of Left Dhimmi Fascism, coming out some time later, I note over and over H.L. Mencken's point that people do not want freedom, they want security. Europeans do not want freedom. They don't want it or they would have come to America. They want a paternalistic Bismarckian welfare neo-feudalist state. They do not want freedom, and in return for security they are willing to allow their neo-aristocracy to act like animals of a higher order than themselves.
