Hard on Weiner

Most of us will never know what it is to be a public figure. Who among us wants to be known like Joe the Plumber is known? Most of us have no such ambition, and that likely included Joe, to be Marilyn Monroe.

But doing in the world invites scrutiny and publicity even for those who wish it not, who are simply doing jobs that catch the eye of probing vultures looking for rot to devour on an endless search for such. It must be the price of public exposure that people are tormented for a Roman thrill. This Weiner. He is now stabbed by Donald Trump. Weiner went to the arena voluntarily and did his dirty deeds because he wanted the rewards of it. One can't find much sympathy for him. Donald Trump destroys him. That alone is a fate worse than death.
