Molly Norris has no Gurkha

Molly Norris is still underground, in hiding from jihadis who want to kill her. They want to kill here in America. American men rose up in her defence but-- but no, they didn't. That's why Molly Norris, ex-Seattle cartoonist girl is still in hiding from jihadis. Maybe too she's hiding because she's ashamed of American men and doesn't want to see them roll their eyes and shuffle off to play video games if she calls out for help. The incident below is not an exact parallel with Norris's case. In the following there was a man on the spot, directly able to act. Molly Norris had the FBI, she had her friends, she had those around her in Seattle, she had all the men of America and some of those now resident in Canada to step up to defend her. But no one did. She fled the city and changed her name and gave up her life as it was for the sake of living in fear under some other name. No man came to her rescue.

Lone Nepali Soldier Defends Potential Rape Victim Against 40 Men

Whoa...holy cow! Every once in a while someone in the world comes along and reminds us what a true hero really looks like. A 35 year-old Gurkha soldier named Bishnu Shrestha was riding a train when he suddenly found himself in the middle of a massive robbery. 40 men armed with knives, swords and guns stormed the train and began robbing the passengers.

Bishnu kept his peace while the gang snatched cell phones, jewelry and cash from other riders. But then, the thugs grabbed the 18 year-old girl sitting next to him and forcefully stripped her naked. Before the bandits could rape the poor girl in front of her helpless parents, Bishnu decided he had enough.

“The girl cried for help, saying ´You are a soldier, please save a sister´,” Shrestha recalled. “I prevented her from being raped, thinking of her as my own sister.”

Here's the part of the story that makes you cheer. He pulls out a kukri (i.e. a knife) and proceeds to kill 3 of them, injure 8 of them, and causes the rest to flee. During the battle, he suffered a severe knife injury to his left hand, from which he's now recovered.

Why did no men defend Mollie? Because Mollie's type despises MEN. If you google her, the couple of pics of her with "Males" are of the leftist metro-sexual limp-wrist types. Not warriors.

If you want MEN to protect you, make them your friends. Not your political enemies...

I understand your frustration, but I don't think men have much choice in which women they defend, women being women first, friends maybe later. Men have to do the right thing, even if it's not something they'll find other satisfaction in.

I like your blog, by the way.

Are there really such men left in this world? I know that you, Dag, are such a one as this soldier.

What makes the Gurkha so good is that he was able to distinguish between the good guys and the bad guys in the fight. I often concerned that if it comes to a major fight in the whole world that too many won't be able to do that themselves, just hacking away at anyone and everyone with no discipline. That's one reason I am so insistent on having our meetings on Thursday evenings, to explain and to learn and to understand who the enemy will be and how to organise against that enemy so we don't go stupid and attack by-standers who have nothing to do with anything. We want to win by defeating our enemies, not to be like Ajax, which is the likely outcome if we don't plan in advance.

Thank you Dag, I like your blog also. It has been on my blog roll for quite awhile now.

Don't get me wrong , I agree that men of quality should always defend women, and frankly anyone who is unable to defend themselves from evil. My point is that Mollie most likely does not even know a man of quality. Manly things tend to be things leftist women distain.

One thing though, I'll bet she has altered perceptions about who makes a better acquaintance now...

Those of us who have been around a long time have seen "the latest thing" come and go to the point that the latest thing isn't too impressive any more. It's one of those advantages of growing up and even of getting old. One of the heartbreaks is seeing younger people making really obvious stupid mistakes that we know we can' stop them from making. It's all part of growing up, and it sometimes means that others will indeed see the result of bad decisions and avoid them because they've seen. I hate to see Molly Norris as a negative example, but in truth, she is that.

Life is not fair, or otherwise we would find otherwise nice girls like Molly being able to hang out with equally nice, effeminate, pot-smoking, skaterboarding 30 somethings till they drop off of old age at 50. Because life is not fair it sometimes falls to men who would otherwise be living their own lives for the sake of family and community to step in and try to do the best for those who are really clueless and in serious danger. That poor and miserable now-dead Beverley Geisbrecht who died alone among Muslims in Pakistan is a good example of about the last fool one would care to risk ones neck saving from her own foolishness, but if we could have we should have just because it's a man's duty to do so. That simpering fool kidnapped in Iraq whose friends and family had to hide his homosexuality from his captors lest they kill him for that alone, the same guy who returned after commandos saved his worthless self and who bitched about them? I don't much care what happens to guys. Girls are a different story. They often have kids to tend to. Even if we don't need them, maybe some kid does. Even if not, it's hard to see a girl tormented. That alone is likely 51% of why I hate Islam.

Well, what I meant was that Molly has likely gone from dancing with boys in socks and sandals to dancing with men in cowboy boots. In other words, I think you're dead-on.
