Obama hands over Presidency to--

And now for something completely... Clinton!?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dODwyYpDmqY

This is so funny I can't stop laughing. Maybe not our first worst president, but certainly our worst worst president. Obama just handed the job of President of the United States of America to Bill Clinton. Well, why not, Clinton has more experience at it, and Obama had to nog with his sleeveless wife. But still....

Funny? It's just another sign of the weakness at the head of your country, a vacuum with which the evil in the world is going to be strengthened. O couldn't refuse Clinton a press conference, because he's weak. Then, unhappy with having gone along with that, he realized he couldn't piss off his wife and her party, because he's weak. And because simply being Pres is more important that walking the walk. So he slinks away. It's not just a dead man walking - the culture of death that put him there is all around us and in us.

I've seen this in boys who fail and turn things over to their fathers to finish or fix for them. It's embarrassing in those cases. One wants to smack the kid and tell him to finish even if he does a bad job, to just do the damned work and learn from it, mistakes and frustrations being part of the process. But this childish walking away and leaving it to dad is beyond anything I've ever seen in a grown man. This is our president giving up like a bored and humiliated child. I laugh, and that's because I am so shocked.

Equally, I am shocked that Clinton takes such delight in carrying on here when any responsible man would have hauled Obama back to the podium by the shirt collar and stood over him till the job was done. But neither of these men are men in any real sense.

From the beginning I've seen Obama as a cheap hustler from any city street corner, a conman picking up rubes. Now I see him as less than that, as a loser even as a street hustler. Today it is contempt.

How will others in the world see this? I fear they'll see it as a reflection of our people and nation in general, and to a large extent they will be right. Ours is a country that has failed. In every test we've faced during this administration our country has failed, from inside and out, failed in every sense to pass ordinary school day style tests of knowledge and character. This period is failure pure and simple. We have a sulky, sullen, ego-driven little puke in charge of our nation, and till he's gone we'll suffer from it.

Will Sarah Palin be a better president? I don't know. I have serious doubts that such a person is strong enough to stand up in the world and restore our standing as the class leader we must be. But I have some serious authoritarian leanings, so maybe Palin is seen by others as too strong, and I am on the far side of brutal. I look for a drill sergeant president. I long for a man who will yell and push and shove and drive and kick the nation till it emerges as a vibrant and disciplined man among nations again. Maybe Palin can bring that America back. Not alone, but with the people combined into a unit struggling to make a real corps of citizens engaged in creative living. We'd have to demand of ourselves that we do well in all fields of life, no shirking, no excuse making, no allowance for failure. We'd have to love competition and the pain of endurance. We'd want to love the reality of hurting to win because winning is a good thing. We laugh at our pains if it means we're winning.

So, yes, we have the weakest man in American politics pretending to be our president. We need the captain of the football team to lead us, and instead we have the jerk smoking and swilling beer in the parking lot as our leader.

I'm not going home for that. I laugh at that. I laugh because I am shocked. I don't want to do anything other than laugh because I might just get sick instead.
