Dutch Flood Approaching Coastal Areas

There is no such thing as Left and Right in politics. The whole concept is a sham. What difference between dhimmis on the so-called Left like Tiny Munchkins and dhimmis on the so-called Right like Le Pen? Today in the Houses of the World as divided in Islam there is only the meaningful distinction between jihadis and those who filibuster. Jihadis kill for Islam, and those who filibuster must engage them and fight back if the West is to prevail and if Humanity is to gain further from our Revolutions of Modernity, of peace, individual freedom, and freedom from want and disease. If we want to maintain and further our democracies, we must struggle. The Dutch, if not struggling, are at least becoming further fed-up daily with dhimmitude, and politicians are listening at last.

Left-wing MPs reject anti-racism demo invite

Thursday 20 March 2008

Left-wing MPs have rejected an invitation by an anti-racism organisation to join a demonstration in Amsterdam on Saturday, saying they fear it could turn into an anti-Geert Wilders event.

They have also refused to accept a petition opposing Wilders' PVV party, saying their role is to combat his opinions in parliament, the Volkskrant reports on its website.

'The organisation Nederland Bekent Kleur' (the Netherlands recognises colour) is against polarisation but is polarising itself,' Labour MP Khadija Arib (photo) said in the Telegraaf.

The organisation told NOS news it was the first time all MPs had turned down an invitation to take part.

Even Leftist politicians in a democracy like the Netherlands are now finding it impossible to go along with the fringe who have lead round the nation by the nose so long. A democracy of sorts, the Dutch political classes still have to get re-elected, and they are seeing the discontent of the masses regarding the nature of Islam in Europe, a discontent they can no longer ignore with impunity. Sane people who rely on empirical proofs rather than ideological bias to inform and to form their actions have had it with out-of-control Muslims. Now even politicians are heeding the will of those who vote en masse. Geert Wilders is looking like a winner.

The other Dutch Fitna film

A Moroccan youth group from Delft in the Netherlands, calling themselves "Scheme 015 Delftse Samenzwering Shit," [samenzwering means conspiracy] has posted a video clip threatening to kill voters and sympathizers of Dutch politician Geert Wilders.

More dishonesty flung at Geert Wilders

There's no end to the nonsense we get from those who hasten to condemn Geert Wilders and his 15 minute film, Fitna. In the piece below some Muslim whinges about Wilders being a racist. Iranians do insist that Islam is a race in itself: that if one is born a Muslim, then one must forever be a Muslim or one must be killed. Those of us in the civilized world do not assign religion to people on the basis of race or ethnicity or family. For us it's a matter of free personal choice. That seems to upset Muslims and Leftists as well. Thus we read such things as this article below in which there is planned a demonstration against Wilders' supposed "racism" for his condemnation of Islam as a fascist poligion. The Left and the Muslim umma generally can't think of one good reason not to dismiss Islam as a fascism, so they stoop to idiotic name-calling. Islam is not a race. The Left and Muslims often pretend they don't get it. The rest of us do, and it makes the others look increasingly dishonest and ugly.

Anti-racism demo to target Wilders

De Volkskrant writes that an anti-racism organisation is planning a large demonstration on the Dam in Amsterdam on Saturday whose principal target will be Geert Wilders. The group hopes the rally "Will symbolise a turning point in the Dutch political climate that is now characterised by fear and hatred." De Volkskrant says it will be the first major anti-racism rally since the mid-1990s. Mohamed Rabbae, secretary of a Moroccan organisation, says that the rally will be linked with the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. "But we're not playing hide and seek. Wilders is the spokesman of racism. And racism is the concrete rot of society."

[Mr Wilders refused to say when his anti-Qur'an film Fitna will be released, only that it "will appear on the internet before the 1st of April".]

http://www.expatica.com/nl/articles/news/RNW-PRESS-REVIEW-_-19-MARCH-2008.html
Civilized people understand there is nothing innate in being a Muslim. One needn't be or if one is one needn't remain being a Muslim simply due to being a Moroccan, for example. The "racist" canard is a canard. It is bullshit.

We are all Rock Hudson.

Deiter Bonnehoffer, the totally famous anecdotalist, said:

First they came for me, but I fought them and they ran away.
Then they came for the gay guy next door, so I had to go help him because if they're going after people it isn't right.
Then they tried going after women; and that was the end of it because we beat the shit out of them and they ran away and haven't been seen since.

It's very simple, though any number of people cannot figure it out even when one explains it to them: one cannot be a universalist and a relativist. Either all cultures are equally valid for those who belong to them and within their own context and ya ya, or there is a universal standard of morality and Human rights. It can't be both at the same time.

I'm pretty well qualified to write on gay films, being a big fan of Rock Hudson / Doris Day movies. But I defer. The following piece is about yet another gay porn star, not Rock Hudson, neither is it about Doris Day. It's really about you, dear reader. What kind of society do you want to live in? There's really no room in a sharia state for Rock and Doris.

I've written about this before, but it's important to cover and I bring a bit more to the story as it unfolded, this being foreground, and this being aftermath.

Not your typical gay pornographer

Meet Michael Lucas: smut merchant, neo-con pundit, outspoken Zionist and scourge of America's gay intelligentsia

This was not what Patrick Cordova had bargained for. The Stanford junior, a member of the school's student government, had wanted to host a lecture on sexual health. And he figured that a provocative and fun way to tackle the issue would be to bring a prominent pornographer to speak on campus. So Cordova sent out some invitations. The first person he heard back from was Michael Lucas -- longtime porn actor and director of such films as Hunt & Plunge, The Bigger The Better, and Fire Island Cruising (editions one through eight). A fixture in New York nightlife and head of his own production company, Lucas is one of the biggest names in gay porn. His 2006 epic La Dolce Vita had a $250,000 budget, which Lucas says makes it the most expensive porn film in history. The movie garnered best-picture honors at the annual GAYVN Awards, the Oscars of gay porn. (It also garnered a lawsuit from the company that controls the rights to the original Fellini film.) New York magazine has dubbed him the "last of the New York porn moguls."

Lucas -- a staunch advocate of safe sex who, unlike some porn directors, uses condoms in his movies -- sounded like exactly the kind of guest speaker Cordova had in mind. "We were hoping that people would embrace his ideas on sexual identity and sexual health," Cordova told me. But, after Stanford had already booked him, controversy erupted. Some students felt that Lucas shouldn't have been invited to lecture. By the day of his speech, the storm surrounding Lucas had made its way into the pages of The Stanford Daily, where organizers found themselves defending the invitation against the protests of their outraged peers.

What had provoked such heated debate? It wasn't Lucas's porn. It was his politics. Lucas, it turns out, is a fervent supporter of Israel and a harsh, often offensive, critic of the Muslim world. He has called the Koran "today's Mein Kampf" and regularly inveighs against Muslim homophobia and anti-Semitism in less-than-charming terms. "It totally escapes me how gay people can side with burkawearing, jihad-screaming, Koran-crazed Muslims," he opined last year.

At the talk itself, which took place this past Valentine's Day and drew an audience of about 50, Lucas stuck to his guns. "What's the point to respect their culture, or supposed culture, when they have a strong contempt for mine?" Lucas asked. And he wasn't content to leave it at that. The day after he spoke, he published an op-ed in The Stanford Daily responding to the charge that he is racist. "I never in my life said or wrote a bad word about Arabs -- go read any of my articles," he explained. "My criticism was always addressed towards the religion and ideology of Islam. So I would like to ask Stanford students not to exploit the word 'racism' at their own convenience."

The Stanford controversy wasn't an isolated incident. Over the past few years, Lucas has developed a side career in political commentary to go along with his more lucrative day job. He frequently updates his blog with thoughts on world affairs, writes a regular op-ed column for The New York Blade (a gay newspaper), and has feuded with the popular, liberal gay blog Queerty. "I would be better financially if I didn't open my mouth," he tells me. And, yet, Lucas can't seem to help himself.

[....]

You wouldn't know it from watching his movies -- which are apolitical -- but Lucas has opinions on everything. He is a fan of conservative columnist David Brooks and the late right-wing icon Oriana Fallaci (though he acknowledges her homophobia), thought the Iraq war was a bad idea ("the wrong target"), considers the press soft in portraying Islamist terrorism ("it's very upsetting that they don't allow people to see the beheadings"), loves Nicolas Sarkozy ("I think Marc Jacobs told me that Sarkozy went to synagogue") and hates Jimmy Carter ("this f--king peanut farmer"). While he originally disagreed with Russia's brutal policies toward Chechnya, he now believes that America could learn something from Vladimir Putin. "The American army can't take Fallujah?" Lucas asks me, incredulous. "Level it!"

[T]he true objects of his ire are gay liberals whom he sees as overly sympathetic to the Arab side in the Arab-Israeli conflict.

[....]

That's a gross understatement. Last year, in his Blade column, Lucas hailed gay artist Charles Merrill's decision to burn a rare copy of the Koran, estimated to be worth $60,000, and, in a subsequent radio interview, called the Koran an "absolutely evil book."

The false dichotomy of Left and Right is becoming increasingly idiotic in our time, and to witness the contortions people go through to pretend it's a meaningful distinction is too painful for me. The event went as well as one might have expected at Stanford. Below are some comments from the Stanford Daily referred to above.

A comment from the Stanford Daily from the high-flying:

Wilburite on 2/14/08 at 3am

Man, this is a juicy one.

Guess what, the gay porn star is right! In some Islamic countries, areas under Sharia Law require the death penalty for homosexual men and women. It is beyond obvious that, in the name of Islam, homosexuals worldwide are treated like crap. See the following: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexuality_laws_of_the_world
www.ncr-iran.org/content/view/222/69/

What great irony that some clueless members of a GAY campus group are giving in to pressure from those who don't like the Michael Lucas comments. Very foolish. Is this where the left-wing, P.C. push on campus has led us?

This Michael Lucas actually sounds like a real ballsy guy....

One of m. de Sade' favorites, I assume:

Justine on 2/14/08 at 11am

It seems like Q and A and the Muslims on campus prefer to believe what they want to believe, instead of believing what is obviously fact. Sharia law and Muslim countries make homosexuality a serious offense. Iran execute people for it, and its President denies that gays exist in his country. Muslims can't seem to take any critique of their religion or their theocracies.

A man named (very suspiciously):

I am actually impressed at the generally intelligent commentary here. Way to go, Stanford. Mr. Lucas is in my opinion a very exciting commentator on the subjects of Jewishness and Gayness as it intersects with Fanatical Islam. He calls it as he sees it with passion and authority that a few "activists" couldn't possible bring to the table. The hypocrisy of some on the left as it applies to the subject of tolerance in Israel versus intolerance in much of Muslim culture is something I have had to confront in my own (liberal) family. I find it scary because it is a historical fact that the Fascists in Germany similarly had the support of many otherwise cultured and "liberal" people. The strange intersection of racism, totalitarianism and left-ism is a fundamental aspect of much Fascism, in my opinion.

I agree. It is funny to see what leftists do when the people they defend without thought (such as radical Muslims) want to eliminate them or other groups they support (Gays). You can be sure that if a Caliphate were established in Europe or US, as many Muslim leaders desire, there would be no gay pride parades, gay marriages, or gays period.

http://daily.stanford.edu/comments/2008/2/14/adultFilmStarsRemarksSparkDebate

The French Revolution ended a while back, and since then the distinction between Left and Right has pretty much meant not a thing at all. Nevertheless, fashion dictates one use the terms as if they do mean something. Me and my paisley shirts, my bell-bottom pants, my love-beads and peace sign, I don't get that part. Fashion is for others. Geert Wilders is soon to release his short film, Fitna, and he is risking death not only at the hands of fascist Islam but is at risk from fascists on the Left, as it were, not different from fascists on the Right, so to say. First they came for the gay porn stars, then they came for the Dutch filmmakers and politicians. No, that's backward, isn't it? First they killed Pim Fortuyn and then they killed Theo van Gogh. They'll come for you someday, and who'll care? Maybe me if I'm still around, but will you care?

It's not a matter of Left or Right. It's a matter of fascist or democrat. It's a matter of being Rock Hudsons and Doris Days and the conflicts that brings to ones personal life in the physical world, or it means one is tormented by dhimmitude and death by murder.

See you at the movies. While we can still see them.

Muscat Love: O Man, no Dutch treats?

It's not hardly a laughing matter that the Omanis are going to boycott the Netherlands and Denmark's fine products at al Jadeeda Stores, leaving the populations of all three nations facing either bankruptcy or starvation, maybe both, I don't know. And ain't this a shame? It is, friend. Look at all the money the Sheik of Oman has, just like Karen Carpenter; and like her, he too will likely just waste away to nothing but skin and bone because there's nothing to eat. I'm just sick over it. I was in favor until recently of Geert Wilders and the Danish cartoonists, but this kind of Human tragedy is too much even for me to bear. God help us all.

Al Jadeeda Stores to boycott items from Denmark, Netherlands

By Saif bin Sulaiman Al Mezaini
Sunday, March 16, 2008 12:26:05 AM Oman Time

MUSCAT — Al Jadeeda Stores and all its branches in the Sultanate's governorates and regions will boycott all products from Denmark and the Netherlands, effective from today.

The boycott comes in retaliation for the recent publication of caricatures insulting Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in Danish papers.

Mukhtar bin Abulridha bin Mukhtar Al Lawati, director-general of public relations, said all suppliers dealing with Al Jadeeda Stores were notified with the decision last week. The notification stipulated non-supply of products from Denmark and the Netherlands to all branches of Al Jadeeda Stores.

"We have no intention to suspend the decision at least in the near future," he said, adding that the decision would continue as long as the insulting caricatures continue to be published. "We have agreed to import commodities with high-quality specifications from other countries," he said. Al Jadeeda Stores has a network of six branches in Ruwi, Al Khuwair, Seeb, Widam, Saham and Sohar.

[Photo above: Typical Omani during boycott and before boycott.]

In light of the Omani boycott the last eurythmic survivor, Captain Toni Tennille said the Omanis might survive by "nibblin' on bacon, chewin' on cheese. Sami says to Siddiquie: Habbibi, would you please be my Mrs.? Siddiquie says, yes, with his kisses. Now, he's ticklin' his fancy, rubbin' his toes; Muzzlem to Muzzlem, now anything goes as they wriggle. Siddiquie starts to giggle. And they whirled and they twirled and they tango; singin' and jinglin' a jangle; floatin' like Paradise above. Looks like Muscat love."

I just hope the Omanis can live on oil. I hear it's not bad with camel hair. Maybe a dash of sand and some sea-water....

A case of arson occurs four times every day in Denmark, according to figures from the National Police. From the fourth quarter of 2006 to that of 2007, arson cases rose 13 percent, from 1207 fires to 1370.

Considering that the most recent spate of fires set in connection with riots in February were not included in the figures, this year could be an even worse one for police and firefighters. (RC)

Wilders and the Dragon's Teeth

"This complex attachment to multiculturalism [is] owed to several reasons, including a guilt connected to the Netherlands' colonialist past," [Dutch immigration expert Paul] Scheffer says. "And it's also connected to a sense of guilt vis-à-vis what happened to the Jewish community in the Holocaust. Eighty-five percent of Holland's Jews died in the Holocaust. The country's Nazi party had some 100,000 members. Wilders also says he sees this as one of the reasons for "a misguided policy of appeasement" toward some radical elements in the Netherlands' Muslim community.

A Moroccan youth group from Delft in the Netherlands, calling themselves "Scheme 015 Delftse Samenzwering Shit," [samenzwering means conspiracy] has posted a video clip threatening to kill voters and sympathizers of Dutch politician Geert Wilders. The clip shows a group of Moroccans youths provoking two Dutch lads on a crowded public train. The hooded Moroccans ask the lads, who are dressed in black, what the badges on their clothes mean. At first the lads do not react. When the Moroccans start pulling at the lads' clothes the latter ask to be left alone. At this the Moroccans grab them from their seats and beat them up.

There are any number of ideas about what Islam is today, ranging from the laughable "Islam is th religion of peace" to Islam is a 7th century tribal code governing the lives of people in the 21st century to Islam is a fascist poligion. Today I will add that Islam is a lumpen criminality.

The majority of Muslims in the world are at best barely literate, mostly on the verge of starvation, backward in deeds and enterprise, reeling from the onslaughts of foreign intrusions into their weak cultures, and on the edge of extermination by private forces from the world around them. Islam began as a criminal enterprise, as a motivational gimmick to encourage and justify theft, rape, murder and conquest. It has never changed from the first days the warlord Mohammed at Yathrib, and it is now a deflated and dirty criminal enterprise not able to make inroads anywhere in the world of its own volition. Islam exists only where it is supported in the physic by outside forces, by foreign aid, by foreign care, by foreign cheer-leading. The result is an even weaker Islam that the Islam of 50 years ago, a force then spent in word and deed. Islam today is a mere shadow of its former criminal self. Today, Islam is openly a teenage gangster affectation. Today, Islam is nothing other than a cheap parody of it violent and criminal past. Islam today is merely ghetto bravado and occasional murder in small and dirty ways. Islam today is an allowance from self-indulgent Westerners too sated by consumerism and religion as sentimentality to bother to squish Islam into the sand. Islam is a dirty little indulgence we allow because we are amused by its vivid performances of street theater and noisy distraction from our daily mediocrities. Ghetto kiddies with home-made bombs entertaining us in a smallish tantrum give us thrills from afar, give us opportunities to emote, give us platforms to posture from, give us this day or daily pablum of superficial moral indignation to spit out at those who fawn over us, our leaders who hate us. Cheap crap, this fawning, this playing at coolness and pity and moralistic pretense. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The nice-girl life of average men is coming to a crashing close. It's finished now in all but the final acts of fury. This. That. Let's fawn. Let's pout and scold and pretend we don't see the plain. No. Let's not. Guilt? Spit.

There is an underground of men and women who lived that fine day and who will not rest again till the filth is swept away and dumped for good in the ashcan of history. The kiddies with the swagger and the spittle and the gutter sermons, they have found some ready to finish off the crime that is Islam. Beat boys on the subway, pay later. In this and in the centuries and millennia, Islam has sown the dragon's teeth. Today Islam has no jewel to toss. Tomorrow they face the face of the grown.

The Fitna of Rebirth

Religion might well have much to do with the supernatural but it still has more to do with its etymological sense than with God: Religion is a binding. Rage as we might and often do against the Muslim laws against apostasy, the binding that is religion in Islam is sensible if one accepts it as a binding force rather than as a punishment and a misoneism. If one looks at the nature of religion as a binding of community and the communion of souls in a stronger force than any one man can be alone of himself, then religion is the best thing one can find; and in Islam, the binding is near perfection. The binding is near total, nearly "totalitarian," as Mussolini meant when he coined the term, when Mussolini created secular Fascism, a binding. To speak out against the whole nation, against the whole people, against the core and the reason for living, it is a harm to all caused by the one. No one person is so important that he should go against the nature of the whole people, not even the genius of the nation, not even the Great Leader, he who can only be great in that he is the embodiment of the whole. The alien, the outsider, the apostate, the one who says no when all others say yes, he, the blasphemer, is naturally evil. So it is in Islam, and so it is in The Netherlands. As it is in the ummah, so is apostasy in the collectivist welfare states of Europe. Geert Wilders is an apostate and a heretic.

"Law against blasphemy to be scrapped," by political editor John Tyler; Radio Netherlands; 13-03-2008

A majority in the Dutch parliament, led by the ruling Labour Party, wants to scrap a law which fines or even imprisons people who commit blasphemy. But although the law isn't used anymore, even debating whether or not to scrap it is sensitive. The Christian parties in Dutch politics have always argued to keep it on the books.

Now, tension is high in anticipation of far right Dutch MP Geert Wilders' film, which is expected to be considered blasphemous by most Muslims. And although there's a majority for scrapping the law, government is not asked to get rid of it immediately.

Wilders is hurting the common bond in the Netherlands. He would break it.

Up to a Quarter of Non-Western Immigrants Marry Within Family

The National Institute for Environmental Hygiene (RIVM) has investigated the high percentage of infant mortality in Rotterdam. It concluded that this is related to the fact that many non-Western immigrants marry within their own families. Up to 25% of Turks in the Netherlands and 20% of the Moroccans have done so, which causes far more genetic problems than are common in the general population, where only about 1 per thousand would marry within his own family.

Wilders' film, Fitna, takes its name from the wars of succession in the early years of Islam, a time when those who demanded power for themselves and their would-be dynasties fought against each other in centuries-long wars, in fitna.

The binding of the umma, the binding of the communion of souls that is our politic conformity in the Modernity of our time, all of it is religion. Some bonds cut so tight the blood ceases to flow and the rot sets in. Sometimes only fitna is the answer to continued survival.

Wildebeests, yes; Beastly Wilders, no.

Netherlands television stations refuse to broadcast Geert Wilders 15 minute film, Fitna, as he has asked, and now he's not able to afford the rent of a press centre at the Hague to show it in a grand public display. Instead, the film will happen on the Internet. And more films from the Netherlands will be on the Internet as well, though they won't casue much disturbance among the U.N., the E.U., the ummah, or the Usual Suspects lurking somewhere off to the left-hand side of reality: The Netherlands is seemingly famous for making "sex with animals" videos. And I thought they were kidding about sex-monkeys.

Wilders decides against press conference on film

THE HAGUE – Freedom party PVV leader Geert Wilders will not give a press conference to present his anti-Koran film Fitna. He is putting "all his efforts" into ensuring that the film can be seen on the internet at the end of this month.

Since no broadcaster was willing to show Fitna in its entirety, Wilders had planned to present the film in press centre Nieuwspoort in The Hague. But in that case he would have to cover the costs of security for the building himself. That would cost several hundred thousand euro, the politician said.

His calculations are based on a risk analysis which indicates that various security measures would be necessary before and after the press presentation.

"It is too expensive", Wilders said Tuesday. He does not want to ask the government for the money. Nor will Parliament look for an alternative location since that would lead to further talks and delay.

If no Dutch or foreign broadcaster offers to show Fitna in its entirety, Wilders will put the film on the internet.

He would like to do that as soon as possible but it still requires a great deal of preparation, to prevent the website from being blocked by mass numbers of visitors clicking on the film at the same time for instance....

Dutch Parliamentarian Investigates Sex of Humans with Animals; Dutch Parliament condemns Wilders' Film

Harm Evert Waalkens (Labor) claims that there is a significant amount of sex with animals in the Netherlands. It is only punishable if the police can prove that the animal suffered pain. He added that the Netherlands is a refuge for producers of pornographic films on sex with animals and has a market share of 65%. He said that in his investigations he discovered an entire industry and was told that, if he succeeded in passing more stringent laws against such films, it would lead to unemployment.... Mehdi Safari, Iran's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs has suggested to the Dutch Foreign Minister, Maxime Verhagen, that the Netherlands should prohibit showing the proposed movie on the Quran, incitement and violence by Freedom Party leader, Geert Wilders, on the basis of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights. He added that, if the film is shown, Dutch products may be boycotted in Iran.... Is it me or is there something weird about a nation that worries over unemployement in the sex with animals trade but bends over backward, as it were to avoid upsetting crazed jihadis who threaten to murder a Dutch politician? Just asking. In fact, I wanted to ask the average Dutchman, but before I could I found this instead:

A number of residents of Venlo – the town where Freedom Party leader Geert Wilders was born – who have the same surname, have received death threats. They received a letter saying that they must do everything in order to prevent the movie being shown. The recipients told the police that they are not related to Geert Wilders.

Sex with wildebeests, ja, but flee those beastly Wilderses.

The news for the past few days has been from the mainstream media the usual nonsense, this occasion being to give the general population the impression that Wilders threw in the towel over not being able to show his film at the Hague. See the first line below:

"THE HAGUE, 08/03/08 - Party for Freedom (PVV) leader Geert Wilders has given up on his efforts to persuade a Dutch television broadcaster to show his Koran film."

Yesterday that was the Party line in the msm. It's somewhat different today:

Not a single broadcaster wants to show the film in full and without breaks, the MP confirmed Friday. "It makes freedom of expression of broadcasters a hollow phrase," he said. "I am stopping the negotiations."

The reporting we endure daily would encourage a nasty guy to suggest that many journalists give up the media they're in now and take up something a little more within their talents. I refer of course to the story above.

OH! I mean the one about the religious types. I'm shocked. What a dirty mind you have, Bessie.

Wilders says he has discussed showing his film with five editors of programmes. The politician may see whether a broadcaster abroad would like to show his film. "But I have not yet been occupied with this," said Wilders.

None of this information was available to me yesterday, that Wilders might look for another venue. I wisely postponed my provisional post.

It is also by no means certain that the film can be shown in the Nieuwspoort international press centre (IPC) in The Hague. The IPC wants Wilders to pay for the costs of extensive security measures, while nearby shops are threatening him with damages claims for loss of sales on the day - likely 28 March - that he wants to show the film in the IPC.

You would be forgiven for thinking nearby shops would lose business on sales of wooden shoes and cheese. As likely is that nearby stores sell porn and booze and open their doors to stoned gamblers.

Wilders wants to depict his view in the short film that the Koran is a Fascist book that incites to hatred. The film will definitely be shown on the website fitnathemovie.com, for which the server is in the US.

The Netherlands government is concerned about a drop-off in Dutch improts to Islamic nations if Wilders' film goes public. What? Are Iranian mullahs going to boycott Dutch sex with goat movies?

International tension grows over Wilders' film

International pressure on the Netherlands over the controversial anti-Koran film by Dutch MP Geert Wilders is growing...

On Wednesday Reuters news service reported that Iran's deputy foreign minister said the Netherlands has the power to stop Wilders from screening the film about the Koran which has already sparked protests in the Muslim world.

'The Netherlands is responsible ...they can stop it,' Mahdi Safari told Reuters, urging the Dutch government to invoke the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Freedom of speech should not stretch to allowing Wilders to offend the rights of others, he added.

'If such a man will insist on this it is irresponsible for the world and society," Safari told journalists at a briefing after meeting Dutch Foreign Minister Maxime Verhagen, reports Reuters.

Both Safari and Iran's ambassador to the Netherlands Bozorgmehr Ziaran said they could not predict the reaction of the world's 1.2 billion Muslims to the film, or prevent possible violence. 'Why would you expect us to control 1.2 billion Muslims when you cannot control one person,' Ziaran is quoted as saying. He added Wilders sought to violate Muslim's rights by demonising them, and was a war-monger and troublemaker.

Meanwhile Wilders has told the media that his short film will not be presented at a press conference although he will be available to answer journalists' questions when the film is released on the internet. The 15-minute film is due to be released on March 28.

Yes, there are some problems in the Netherlands, and the Churches of the nation, like the good pastors they are, want to talk it over with a sinner like Wilders and set him on the straight and narrow. Now, did I even seem like I was making a "pastors and their sheep" joke? No, like the good Dutch religious establishment, I am serious and have my priorities straight and narrow.

Churches in Utrecht Distance Themselves from Wilders' Movie

The Municipal Council of Churches in Utrecht has sent an open letter to all mosques in the town in which the Council distances itself in advance of the broadcast of the movie "Fitna" by Geert Wilders. It says that this film depreciates the freedom of religion in the Netherlands, which was so difficult to acquire. ****

OK, so some Dutch Christian leaders are outright loony and stupid. Forget about Christians. We can turn then to the genuinely moderate Muslims we hear so much about but so seldom see. They are the
Ahmadiyyans, considered by the overwhelmingly vast if not almost entire Muslim population to be non-Muslim heretics. But let's take what we can get and be happy.

Abdul Aziz, the Press Secretary of the Ahmadiyya Community, Sri Lanka said:

"For the past few years Mr Geert Wilders has conducted a vicious and cruel campaign against Islam during which he has caused great pain to millions of Muslims worldwide through his attacks on the blessed character of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the Holy Qur'an.

Now Mr Wilders has chosen to develop a film about Islam which given his previous statements must be expected to further his anti-Islamic agenda through baseless propaganda. His Political Party claims that its fundamental principle is 'Freedom of the Individual', yet Mr Wilders continues to try and prevent Muslims from living freely and peacefully."

There have been a number of reports that suggest that if the film is released it could lead to the type of violence witnessed in 2006 upon the printing in Denmark of caricatures depicting the Holy Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him). The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has always and will always condemn any form of violence which can never be justified as Islam is a peaceful religion. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community lives by its motto 'Love for All, Hatred for None' and unlike the manifesto of Mr Wilders' Political Party, the message of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is adhered to by all of its members throughout the world.

Abdul Aziz further said:

"If this film is released it will no doubt hurt the sentiment of Muslims worldwide, but it is hoped that all Muslims follow the lead of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community by exhibiting their displeasure in a wholly peaceful manner."

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community commends the decision of Dutch Television Broadcasters who have thus far unanimously decided against showing Mr Wilders film.

A Storm of Normal

Obviously not all Netherlanders are stoned all the time. It seems that many of them are even getting sick of the ones who are. They seem to think they should go so far as to shut down some of the drug industries and outlets that dot the nation. What's this? Are they stupid and evil Rightwing religious bigots like I am? Put some kind of stop to the drug culture of the Netherlands? These "proposed changes come at a time when an increasing number of governments are gradually coming round to the idea of following the Dutch example, precisely because it has been such a success." There you have it. The Dutch are evil and pig-headed. They see that their drug culture is a great success that nations around the world wish to emulate, and the Dutch, out of sheer evil intentions and malignity want to ruin the sterling success of it all because of... a Rightwing conspiracy? What else could it be? It seems a Rightwing government is not a real thing of Human volition, but something like bad weather, a mystery from the skies that one bears till it blows itself out,

"This wind of change has to do with the fact that there are now far more conservatives among the people's representatives in the Netherlands than there have been for many a year."

"More conservatives among the people's representatives." As if they came form outer space! What has this guy been smoking? Good Lord, bud, maybe not everyone in the Netherlands is a hippie. Maybe many people are sick and tired of the hippie bullshit. Maybe people are just plain fed up with the hippie crap fed to them daily for all these years: that violent and demanding and parasitic losers are a product of nativist bias and are a reaction against racist hostility. Oh, spare me. I'm sick of it too. Stop blowing that smoke up my arse. It's over. Hippies puff? Ha. Hippies suck!

Rutger van Santen, "High life in Holland under threat"

For over 30 years, the Netherlands has had the most liberal drugs policy in the world. But all that is about to change. After this week's parliamentary debate on the drugs issue, it looks like even the Netherlands' world-famous 'coffee shops' may not escape the present government's reforms.

During the debate, the government presented plans to ban 'grow shops', which sell seed and equipment for cultivating marijuana at home. Justice Minister Ernst Hirsch Ballin promised new legislation within a matter of months aimed at banning "everything that facilitates the domestic cultivation of cannabis" and imposing strict penalties on offenders.

Curtains for coffee shops?
A majority of MPs support the minister's efforts to take a much tougher line on the use, cultivation and sale of drugs. The spokesman for the main coalition party, the Christian Democrats, even advocated closing down the Netherlands' world famous coffee shops, where people can purchase a limited amount of soft drugs without facing legal sanctions. This proposal may also be able to count on a parliamentary majority.

This wind of change has to do with the fact that there are now far more conservatives among the people's representatives in the Netherlands than there have been for many a year. The coalition government currently running the country consists of three parties: the Christian Democrats, Labour and junior partner the Christian Union.

It is Labour's position that has undergone the biggest shift. Much to the vexation of the progressive opposition parties, Labour MPs have tend to vote along the same lines as their coalition partners since coming to power. And given that the opposition also includes the conservative VVD and the far right Freedom Party, both of which take a prohibitive stance on drugs, this is the first time in years that a real change in policy stands a chance of being implemented.

Success story
The left-wing opposition parties describe the changes as disastrous. For although the Dutch approach to drugs has been the target of much criticism from the rest of the world, its supporters within the Netherlands are quick to point out that it has been a shining success story. For years, the Netherlands has been at the very top of the rankings when it comes to the lowest number of drug-related deaths.

Experts say this is mainly due to the transparency of the Dutch system, the strict dividing line between hard drugs and soft drugs and the outstanding care for addicts. However, the current government is keen to jettison this liberal approach because of its own anti-drugs beliefs and because it is thought to contravene European regulations. Ironically, the proposed changes come at a time when an increasing number of governments are gradually coming round to the idea of following the Dutch example, precisely because it has been such a success.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know the libertarianesque spiel of "prohibition doesn't work" and the idea that the state shouldn't regulate peoples' vices anyway if all they do is ruin their own lives. Fine. But it isn't fine or people wouldn't vote for governments that toss drug users and dealers in jail. One in one hundred Americans is in prison today, mostly for drug related offenses. Is that a bad thing? Would it be better to have them all on the street instead? If people are criminals, throw them in jail. If people can't stop doing what is prohibited, what is the problem with throwing them in jail? Most free citizens are happy to see them go. That too is democracy. If 99 people out of 100 aren't "progressive," then go somewhere else to live or go to jail for offending them.

A success? Only for those on dope and those in the industry. Everyone else suffers. It's not just the dope culture dominance that offends: it is the povertarian ethos of the hippies that is sickening and repulsive. The government and its expert managers control the drug pandemic, so not to worry. Well it sucks. It sucks because it is a government scam in the first place, one that can never be anything good, never positive, never better, only a management problem that will get worse and worse and always managed more and more by more and more managers demanding more and more money and money and money for a bottomless piss-hole. Only hippies can like this mess, and they do. It's their living, career, and identity. Who needs them?

Geert Wilders is taking on the whole rotten hippie establishment, and because he does he lives under 24 hour per day guard to try to survive the rage and hatred of Muslims and the dhimmis who would also kill him like one did Pym Fortuyn. A society that can't say no to drug culture can't say no to jihadis either. They can't say no to being bullied, beaten, robbed, raped, and even murdered. There's only so much people will put up with, and this is the time the tide turns. Wilders stands alone today in the public mind as one man saying "No" very loudly. Only hippies complain about him. Fitna? It's a Dutch word meaning 'the totally preventable social troubles brought on by hippies.' Death Hippies.

Go, Wilders, Go!
