Molly Norris has no Gurkha

Molly Norris is still underground, in hiding from jihadis who want to kill her. They want to kill here in America. American men rose up in her defence but-- but no, they didn't. That's why Molly Norris, ex-Seattle cartoonist girl is still in hiding from jihadis. Maybe too she's hiding because she's ashamed of American men and doesn't want to see them roll their eyes and shuffle off to play video games if she calls out for help. The incident below is not an exact parallel with Norris's case. In the following there was a man on the spot, directly able to act. Molly Norris had the FBI, she had her friends, she had those around her in Seattle, she had all the men of America and some of those now resident in Canada to step up to defend her. But no one did. She fled the city and changed her name and gave up her life as it was for the sake of living in fear under some other name. No man came to her rescue.

Whoa...holy cow! Every once in a while someone in the world comes along and reminds us what a true hero really looks like. A 35 year-old Gurkha soldier named Bishnu Shrestha was riding a train when he suddenly found himself in the middle of a massive robbery. 40 men armed with knives, swords and guns stormed the train and began robbing the passengers.

Bishnu kept his peace while the gang snatched cell phones, jewelry and cash from other riders. But then, the thugs grabbed the 18 year-old girl sitting next to him and forcefully stripped her naked. Before the bandits could rape the poor girl in front of her helpless parents, Bishnu decided he had enough.

“The girl cried for help, saying ´You are a soldier, please save a sister´,” Shrestha recalled. “I prevented her from being raped, thinking of her as my own sister.”

Here's the part of the story that makes you cheer. He pulls out a kukri (i.e. a knife) and proceeds to kill 3 of them, injure 8 of them, and causes the rest to flee. During the battle, he suffered a severe knife injury to his left hand, from which he's now recovered.

Bayonets and Pillows

Bayonets in the days of laser-guided missiles? Bayonets are useful when the enemy is right there and there's no room to fire a rifle. You don't want to fire a rifle into a crowd, half of whom might be your own. You thrust and puncture the enemy. You don't fire at random into a crowd. First you stab, and if your bayonet is stick in bones and won't come free, then you fire to blow a hole to loosen your weapon. But that's all too icky for our own these days. We use computers. We don't actually stab a guy to death and then blow him up to get our weapons free of his dead stuff. Too yucky for ours these days. And forget about gutting a corpse so it doesn't bloat and explode before anyone can bury it or burn it. That's super-icky. Better to stay home and smoke pot and maybe go to an anti-war protest rally in the hope of finding a girl to hit on, maybe, if she's not too intimidating.

The British soldiers later said that though some of the insurgents were wounded in the bayonet charge itself, others were simply terrified into surrender.

Instilling such terror is at the heart of the philosophical argument for keeping bayonet training, historians say.

“Traditionally in the 20th century – certainly after World War I – bayonet training was basically designed to develop in soldiers aggressiveness, courage, and preparation for close combat,” says Richard Kohn, professor of military history at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Bayonet training is, in short, used to undo socialization – to “basically to try to mitigate or eradicate the reluctance of human beings to kill each other,” Mr. Kohn says. It is one of the challenges in US or Western society “where we have such reverence for the individual, where we socialize our people to believe in the rule of law, and all of that,” he adds. “What you’re doing with young people is trying to get them used to the highly emotional and irrational and adrenaline-filled situations in which they are liable to find themselves whether they are within sight of the enemy or not – and the reluctance to take a life.”

I am deeply concerned not only over Molly Norris being abandoned by our nation, I am sickened that all women in our nation are at risk because it seems all the men are creepy and cowardly. If men won't defend women, what the fuck good are they? Yes, what good are the women? What is any good at all if we just don't care about women and children?

Television pundit Virginia Ironside prompted outrage yesterday after saying she would suffocate a child to end its suffering.

Shocked BBC viewers complained after the agony aunt said she would hold a pillow over the face of a child in pain.

Minutes earlier the controversial writer said 'a loving mother' would abort an unwanted or disabled baby, and praised abortion as 'a moral and unselfish act'.

Television pundit Virginia Ironside prompted outrage yesterday after saying she would suffocate a child to end its suffering.

Miss Ironside said: 'If a baby's going to be born severely disabled or totally unwanted, surely an abortion is the act of a loving mother.'

She added: 'If I were the mother of a suffering child - I mean a deeply suffering child - I would be the first to want to put a pillow over its face... If it was a child I really loved, who was in agony, I think any good mother would.'

Commentators accused the controversial writer of advocating eugenics, and disability rights campaigners branded her views 'despicable'.

Molly Norris is looking for a few good men. Where are they? Hello, Molly.

Molly Norris, American girl, cartoonist, nice person, kind of timid even for a girl. Molly Norris is living in fear of Muslims, some of whom, according to the FBI, are hoping to murder her. The FBI thinks Muslims will kill her if they can, and they have gotten her to abandon her life as a Seattle resident and cartoonist at a local newspaper, getting her so scared that she's abandoned her life as it was, and she is now in permanent hiding-- permanent that is till we stop this madness and go on the offensive against such people who would kill this girl because she upset them, so they say. We're talking about a girl who drew cartoons for a tiny paper in Seattle, Washington, a girl now hounded and hunted by Muslims who want to murder her. America. In America a girl has to flee from Muslims. Men, what are you doing? Where is "Seattle's Million Man March in Support of Molly Norris"? Men, where are you? Men! Where are you?

To Murder Molly Norris

I'm taking this personally in a way I haven't done even when I'm the one under direct attack by jihadis: An American jihadi is calling for the the murder of Molly Norris. My usual good temper is shot to shit right now. Scaring Molly Norris is grounds for war where I come from. How can anyone be so low as a jihadi? I can't begin to imagine the sickness of the soul that possesses these Muslims.

"Qaida magazine urges killing of those who defame Mohammed"

DUBAI: An English-language Al-Qaida magazine in its first issue ran an article it said was penned by US-born Yemeni cleric Anwar al-Awlaki calling for the execution of anyone who defames the Prophet Mohammed.

"The proper solution to this growing campaign of defamation" of the prophet is "the execution of those involved," reads the article in web magazine "Inspire," in a text provided by the US monitoring service SITE on Sunday

The article singles out Seattle-based cartoonist Molly Norris, who satirically proposed to make May 20 an "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day," although Islam bans the depiction of any prophet as blasphemous.

"A cartoonist out of Seattle, Washington, named Molly Norris started the 'Everyone Draw Mohammed Day,'" the article attributed to the radical Yemeni cleric says.

"She should be taken as a prime target of assassination, along with others who participated in her campaign."

Let's make it easy. "How many jihadis do not want to murder Molly Norris?" Those few might be the few I don't hate. The rest are garbage. This makes me sick to my stomach. Come for me! I'm easy to find.

Molly Norris is the lady who began the "Everybody draw Mohammed Day" project so many around the world have taken part in. Molly Norris isn't really one of those people. I say, "OK, Molly."

Women do not have to stand up and do the fighting that men must do. That's for men. I'm proud of Molly Norris for starting this part of our struggle. I am grateful to her. I don't expect her to have done so much, and don't expect her to do anything else. More is for men like me, maybe for men like you.

Draw, Mohammed (2) 20 May

Thanks to the wonderful Molly Norris we will draw on Mohammed 20 May 2010, and we will show the world forever the true face of Mohammed and Islam itself. Muslims respond with threats, sometimes with car bombs at Times Square. A girl like Molly Norris is rightly frightened, and men like us have to stand up for her because she is right to be frightened. On 20 May Muslims will draw on us, and we must draw on our own courage to show the world we will defend our Mollys.
